Beginner & youth vocal coaching
Private Online Coaching Across the U.S. & In-Person Sessions by Appointment in Southern California
For adults and teens who already live with music — singers with some experience, instrumentalists, dancers, actors — and want to build real vocal technique on that foundation. Clear steps forward, at your pace.

Who these lessons are for
The singers in this studio already carry music in their lives. They sing at karaoke and family gatherings, rehearse with a church or community choir, write their own songs on guitar or piano, dance, act. What they bring is a musical ear and the desire to sing. What we build here is technique — breath, support, intonation and a voice that behaves on purpose.
Karaoke and family singers who want to sound like themselves — on purpose, without strain.
Instrumentalists and songwriters moving from their instrument to their voice, including preparation for studio demo recordings of their own material.
Dancers and actors adding a trained singing voice to their craft.
Church and community choir members who want to strengthen, personalize and project their sound.
Because lessons are one-on-one — mostly online — they are designed for students who already hear music accurately and have sung a little. From that foundation, steady and audible progress comes quickly.
Learning from the ground up
Calm, low breathing and gentle support you can feel in the body — no pushing, no rigid “diaphragm” tricks. Breath becomes the quiet engine behind every phrase.
We start from your natural speaking voice and extend it into sustained, resonant tone, so singing feels like a continuation of who you already are.
Targeted exercises connect what your ear already knows with what your voice produces — so intonation becomes deliberate and reliable, not accidental.
We find where your voice is easy today and widen it gradually, smoothing the shift between chest and head voice without strain.

FAQ
Plenty. Most self-taught singers carry hidden tension and an untrained breath that quietly limits range, stamina and tone. Lessons replace guesswork with technique: steady breath, free resonant sound, a wider comfortable range — and the confidence that your voice will do what you ask of it.
A laptop or tablet with a camera, a stable internet connection, headphones or a speaker and a quiet room where you can sing freely. An external microphone helps but is not required to start.
Lessons combine short, age-appropriate technique work with songs the student enjoys. Goals are set together with the student and parents, and the pace respects each stage of vocal development. Teens from age 10 are welcome.
Once a week is ideal for steady progress, with short daily practice between sessions. The four-lesson package is designed for exactly this rhythm.
